Cookie Policy

1. About this policy
This policy explains how Authentic Change Solutions Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, and how you can control them. Please read it with our Privacy Policy.

It covers every page on www.authenticityresolved.com, including a few older pages, such as our media page, that still run on our original website software (see section 6). Our learning site at financeinspired4success.thinkific.com(opens in a new tab) has its own cookie notice and controls.

2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer, phone or tablet. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and scripts that access information on your device. Session cookies normally expire when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them.

First-party cookies belong to the website you are visiting. Third-party cookies belong to another provider’s domain. Cookie identifiers and related technical information can be personal data, particularly when combined with other information.

Cookie categories
Strictly necessary: needed to provide the website, including security functions and remembering your cookie choices. See section 4 and, for the older pages, section 6.
Functionality: remember information about your visits. Used only on the older pages (see section 6).
Analytics: measure visits and usage. We use Google Analytics, only if you accept it (see section 5).
Advertising: select or measure advertising. Not used on this website.
3. How this site works
Google Analytics loads only if you accept analytics cookies. We do not load advertising pixels. The main pages do not embed video players; some older pages contain embedded Vimeo videos (see section 6). Links to other videos and services take you to separate websites.

We use Civic Cookie Control, provided by Civic Computing Ltd, to show cookie information and record your choices. Its script loads from Civic’s servers, which receive technical information such as your IP address in order to deliver it. It stores your choices in a cookie named CookieControl (see section 4). We have switched off Civic’s optional consent logging, so your choices are not sent to Civic.

Apart from that, the website’s own code does not set cookies or store information in local storage, session storage or a browser database. The site follows your device’s light or dark display setting; it does not save a preference.

The search page runs entirely in your browser. What you type is not sent to us or stored.

The enquiry form prepares an email in your browser. It does not submit your enquiry to a web server. If you choose “Copy email”, the site copies the text to your clipboard. If you open your email app and send the message, your email service handles it. Your browser and email app may have their own history and autofill settings.

We do not use advertising pixels, and we do not display targeted advertising.

4. Necessary cookies
Your cookie choices
CookieControl, set by this website using Civic Cookie Control. It records your cookie choices so we do not ask again on every page. It lasts 90 days. It is strictly necessary, so the law does not require consent for it.

Hosting and security
Our hosting provider uses content delivery and security services to deliver this website and protect it from abuse. These services may set short-lived, strictly necessary cookies, for example to distinguish genuine visitors from automated traffic. They are not used for analytics or advertising, and the law does not require consent for them.

Cookie behaviour can vary with the hosting configuration and the security checks applied to a visit. We review the cookies set on this website whenever the hosting or site features change, and will update this section to list them.

5. Analytics cookies (only if you accept)
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages and resources they find useful. Google Analytics does not store your IP address, and we have switched off Google signals and advertising features. Google keeps the data for 14 months. Google acts as our processor: it may use this data only to provide the service to us. Google may process it in the United States, where it is protected by the UK–US data bridge. Our Privacy Policy explains what is collected.

Since 5 February 2026, the law has allowed some analytics cookies to be set without consent, as long as visitors are told about them and can object. We ask for your consent to Google Analytics anyway, and it does not run unless you accept.

Cookie Set by Purpose Lasts
_ga Google Analytics Distinguishes one visitor from another using a random identifier 2 years
_ga_CRMKVL7MPJ Google Analytics Keeps track of your current visit 2 years
If you later turn analytics off, we stop Google Analytics on this site straight away and remove these cookies where your browser allows. You can also block Google Analytics on every website with Google’s opt-out browser add-on(opens in a new tab). Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites(opens in a new tab).

6. Older pages (media)
A few older pages, such as our media page, still run on the content management system behind our original website, ExpressionEngine. Their addresses contain index.php. When you visit them, ExpressionEngine sets the cookies below on www.authenticityresolved.com.

Cookie Type Purpose Lasts
exp_csrf_token Strictly necessary Protects forms on those pages against misuse (cross-site request forgery) 2 hours
exp_tracker Functionality Remembers the last few pages you viewed during your visit, so the site can return you to the right page after you use a form Until you close your browser
exp_last_visit Functionality Records when you last visited 1 year
exp_last_activity Functionality Records when you were last active on those pages, used with exp_last_visit to work out when a new visit starts 1 year
Some older pages contain embedded Vimeo videos. When the video player loads, Vimeo’s security service, provided by Cloudflare, sets the cookies below on vimeo.com to protect Vimeo against automated abuse. Vimeo is responsible for them under its own cookie policy(opens in a new tab) and privacy policy(opens in a new tab).

Cookie Set by Purpose Lasts
__cf_bm Vimeo (Cloudflare) Tells genuine visitors apart from automated traffic 30 minutes
cf_clearance Vimeo (Cloudflare) Records that your browser has passed a security check 1 year
__cf_ob Vimeo (Cloudflare) Used by Cloudflare’s service on Vimeo’s video player Until you close your browser
We review the cookies on these older pages whenever the website changes and will update this section to match.

7. Your choices
Analytics cookies are off unless you accept them. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Accepting and rejecting are equally easy, and the site works the same either way. You can change your mind at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page, or the cookie icon.

Your browser: you can set your browser to refuse all or some cookies, to alert you when websites set or access them, or to delete them. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause extra security checks, or mean the site asks for your cookie choices again or does not work properly. For instructions, use your browser’s help pages or About Cookies(opens in a new tab).

We do not use advertising or video cookies. If we introduce any other optional cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

8. Other websites and services
Links to our Thinkific learning site, Amazon, YouTube, LinkedIn and other services take you away from this website. Those services may set cookies under their own policies. Following a link from here does not record your consent to their cookies.

9. Changes and contact
We review this policy when we change the hosting, cookie use or website features, and may update it for legal or regulatory reasons. The date at the top shows the latest revision. If you have questions, email enquiries@authenticityresolved.com or write to us at 2 Turbary Road, Fleet, Hampshire GU51 1GH.
